Alpha Feto Protein (AFP) test helps measure the levels of Alpha-Fetoprotein in the blood. AFP levels in the blood help screen for liver cancers, ovarian cancers, and testicular cancers, along with hepatitis and liver cirrhosis in adults. This test is also a part of the triple-screen or quad-screen test usually conducted during the second trimester of pregnancy.
